Ansoo Lake Kaghan Valley is a high-height lake (rise 16,492 feet or 5,027 meters) in the Naran Kaghan Valley in the Mansehra District of the KPK area of Pakistan. It is close Malika Parbat in the Himalayan range. Probably, Initial one is short yet more extreme trek from Saiful Mulook Lake. A difficult trek is needed to get there from Saiful Mulook Lake. From Mahandri 40 km below Naran is another trek to reach the Ansoo Lake, but it is less trodden and the difficulty is unknown. Saif-ul-Malook to Lake Ansoo is about a 4-hour hike.
To reach the summit at 14000 feet, where Lake is visible, it takes about 20 minutes. In addition to horseback riding, you can hire a guide to take you to Ansoo Lake from Lake Saif ul Muluk. There is no room for any other horse to ride with them. The track is hazardous and short and there is no room for other horses to ride on it. It takes only a few minutes to take a picture of Lake Ansoo since you have to cross a number of glaciers. It is beautiful to see the lake from above as well as from the other side. The beautiful Ansoo Lake 13940 feet height from sea level.. This lake can be reached by two different routes. First one is short but steeper trek from Saiful Mulook Lake. It takes more than 7-8 hours for a round trip to Ansoo Lake starting from Lake Saiful Mulook. The trek is covered with snow in most parts of the year. The best time to trek is from July to August. The optimal time to set off for the lake from Saiful Mulook is around 06:00 in the morning, in order to return before sunset. Horses and guides can also be hired from the Lake Saif ul Mulook. The other route is from Manoor Valley.

You may travel on public transport till Naran & hike all the way up till Saif-ul-Malook while avoiding the jeep rides. Whereas Aanso lake doesn’t require any jeep as there is no trek, but it do take loads of time though. You would have to spend a night at the basecamp of Aanso lake which is right across Saif-ul-Malook to Ansoo Lake.
Moreover, It takes over 12 hours for a round outing to Ansuu lake beginning from lake Saiful Mulook. In addition, The best time to trek is from July 10 to August 15. The ideal time to embark for the lake from Saiful Mulook is around 06:00 toward the beginning of the day. First half, which is towards Saiful Malook, is valley along the waterway and it goes up to Malika Parbat base camp. Second half is more extreme beginning from Malika Parbat base camp and finishes with Aansoo Lake. This part is tied in with trekking on the mountain. Check the climate and season before visit this place.
There are two ways to reach this beautiful lake. Ansoo Lake distance from Naran is about 11 km one way.
You can walk from lake Saif ul Malook to Lake within seven to nine hours. As trekking at night will be difficult, it is recommended to start early in the morning.
You will have two halves of your journey. A valley and then from the base of Malka e Parbat to Ansoo Lake are the routes to Malka e Parbat.

Approximately 25 miles south of Naran is village Mahandri, the second trek to opt for. From Mahandri Bazaar, take a jeep to village Manoor, which is yet another beautiful place and an amazing thing to see. A green meadow called Dher appears after about 7 hours of trekking. Ansoo Lake is the last stop on the journey.
